Thanksgiving and more!!

Hi there!  Wow...where has this month gone?!?!  In just 2 days it will be December and the BIG countdown to Christmas will begin! I have a little boy here that is VERY excited to start moving his elf in his Santa countdown calendar starting on Thursday!  I've done some shopping already...have packages that should be arriving via Santa's UPS elves soon and am enjoying our holiday lights and decorations that are up around the house.  It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  AND I LOVE IT!  It's my favorite time of the year.

We had a great Thanksgiving...lots of delicious food, family, fun...and our new baby niece was born!  (Well...Aunt S was in labor on Turkey Day, but baby A was born just after 12 the morning after).  WOW! Enjoy the pictures!  I'll post more soon...I just wanted to at least get some photos up and let you all know that we are fine and well...just busy, busy, busy!

 #1623!  He and I held hands for the full mile run, except for when he SPRINTED to the finish line.  True champion style, for sure!  I was soooooo proud of his focus and drive during this race.  We did a run/walk kind of program that worked great.  He was a trooper!

 This cutie pie is cousin Miss A at Thanksgiving!  It was our first time meeting her...it was great to see those sweet cheeks in person!

 Proud Uncle...I think he looks pretty darn good with a baby in his arms!  Hopefully nieces and/or nephews keep coming so we have those baby days.   :)

 This lil girl weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz. and is absolutely gorgeous!  Just like her big sis!

 Decorating the tree...he was SO into it this year!  The entire backside of the tree is his "coral reef."  He picked out several sea creature ornaments and loved this Puffer Fish from Mimi Bear too!  He used all of our round ball ornaments as "bubbles" on the tree.  Very creative!  He's got some interesting ideas!

The finished product!  The tree is our prettiest one yet (we say that EVERY year!)...just need to get some presents under there and we'll be all set!  :)  Ho, ho, ho!

November days...

 Last weekend we headed over to Clearwater for Aunt S's baby shower and for some weekend fun.  Bear Cub was so happy when Zoe decided to sit...and stay!...in his lap for a while during the ride!

 The next day we went to an awesome park in Largo...amazing play equipment and BC had a blast!

 The first weekend of every month, this park also has an awesome FREE train ride through the park.  Here's BC with cousin A and her other cousins.  They were so cute holding hands like this!

We have a budding artist on our hands!  Check this picture out...he did this all on his own while I was working yesterday.  This is a green mamba snake, coiled around a tree that has Fall leaves falling. I was SO impressed with the detail!  This coming from a boy who would barely scribble-scrabble at this time last year!  So proud!  He's making a snake book...hole-punching all of his pieces to add to his collection.  Art may just be his thing!
