Christmas Joy!

 Bear Cub had "magical reindeer food" from school that we sprinkled on the lawn on Christmas Eve.  He was SO serious about this task!  Rudolph was a big hit with him this year, so the thought of sprinkling food around to "lure"  (his word there) the reindeer to our house...WOW!  He was all about that!

 We all opened up our new jammies on Christmas Eve and BC also got a copy of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."  He was soooo cute when he said, "Oh!  I've been wanting that book!"  :)

Merry Christmas!

We have had a wonderful couple of days here...the weather is gorgeous and happiness is all around!  Just right for the holiday!

Enjoy the pictures from our fun trip to the zoo and today's outing to a nearby county park.  Bear Cub is excited for the BIG day tomorrow and I can't wait to see him come racing down those stairs!  :)

Santa Claus is comin' to town!

Hi there!  Wow...can you believe Christmas is just 4 days away!?!  SO hard to believe!  We've been busy around here....last week I ended up taking BC to the doctor for that fever and turns out, he had an ear infection, so I was glad we went.  Yay for Mama Instincts!  He missed 3 days of school,but was able to go back on Friday to see Santa and have fun with his school friends.  I kind of think he's missing school this week!  Mama is not as much fun when she has to work on the computer still.... ha!  I'm officially off beginning on Friday...yippee!!  I'm off until Jan. 4 and I am going to LOVE and ENJOY the break. It's the first year that the virtual teachers have gotten more than just a few days off, so I am super thankful and excited!

Let's see...we've had some holiday cheer around here with cookie baking, gingerbread house decorating, wrapping presents and just doing our usual "stuff."  I'm taking BC to the zoo tomorrow and we're really looking forward to Christmas Eve and morning with Mimi Bear and then Christmas afternoon with the rest of the family!

Ho, ho, ho!

Hi there!  Just  a quick note to say hello!  HELLO!  Sorry for my lack of posts.  It's been a busy month so far and I just haven't gotten around to uploading my pics yet.  Will do that this week sometime!

Bear Cub is READY for Santa!  He is so cute and excited about it all this year. I think Christmas will be really special this year!  He wants to talk about Christmas morning each night when I lay in bed with him.  He likes to hear all the details of the morning...it must send him into sweet dreams!

Poor guy...I had to pick him up from school early yesterday because he had a fever.  It went down almost immediately with Motrin and he seemed fine all day until late afternoon.  He woke up at 3:30 this morning and had the fever again, so I guess he does have some kind of bug.  I'm hoping he gets feeling better today...hopefully a full day at home with some good rest will do the trick.  I want him to be able to get back to school at least on Friday since the kids are going to have a visit from Santa!

Have a good day!  Because I couldn't fall back asleep this morning, I've gotten all kinds of work done for the day, which is good, so I can just focus on my little man.  I'm feeling tired aleady though...and it's not even 7 a.m. yet....uh-oh!    Will post again soon!  :)

Weekend pics!

 Wow...he is FAST on his bike now! I remember last Xmas when his feet could barely reach the pedals. He has grown a lot here recently...gaining 2 pounds and 2 inches since July!

 Our community had a little "lighting" festival at our Town Square on Friday.  We went for a bit...but it was pretty chilly that night!
