Happy Spring!

Hi everyone!  Hope I still have a few readers out there!  Leave me a comment if you want!  :)

All is well here!  Bear Cub has about 10 weeks of kindergarten left (where did that year go!??) and we just had our Spring Break last week.  It was a great week off!  Not only did BC not have school, but Daddy Bear and me also took the week off.  Lots of family fun!  We went to Disney for a couple of nights, attended a fabulous and FUN wedding (Daddy Bear was the best man) and just enjoyed relaxing when we could and sleeping in until 8 am - thanks to the time change!  Seems like we've all adjusted to that though, since BC was up at his usual 6:15 am today.  *sigh*  It sure was good while it lasted!

Bear Cub is doing awesome in school!  He's made some great friends and is learning so much!  He's in the advanced reading group and also gets EXTRA spelling words, which he's doing great with.  He loves his teacher and is always happy to go to school.  He was so happy to get back after his spring break!

Last weekend, he started flag football!  This is his first sport since we did the t-ball and soccer combo back when he was almost 4.  Times have changed...thank goodness!  He's out there giving it his all, listening to the coaches, and being a great teammate.  We're very proud!

 BC being VERY serious during his Awards Ceremony...he kept his finger up in the "Shhh!" position the whole time!  He earned Honor Roll and Good Citizenship.  YAY, Bear Cub!!  xo

100th Day of Kindergarten

Where is this school year going!?!?  Today was BC's 100th Day of Kindergarten. He headed to school armed and ready with his white bag filled with 100 of his most precious plastic creatures.  :)  I think there were about 1,100 left behind in the house. 

But seriously...where is time going?   Shoot, he'll be graduating high school before I know it.  *sigh*   A little premature, I know...but I feel like now that he's in elementary school, it's going to be a blur.

 I am so proud of how far he's come in 100 days.  He's grown so much in all regards.  What a boy.  He was filled with happy chatter about his FUN day at school.  I love days like this.  He shares a lot with me and I hope that continues.  I NEVER get a "Aw, nothing!" response when I ask what he did at school.  There are always stories to tell (usually silly ones) and interesting things he's learned.

Eeeeek! Christmas Catch-Up!

 

Hi and Happy 2013!!!

 

 

My resolution is to get back to my better blogging ways this new year!  But, I'd better catch up from Christmas, first!

 

We had an AWESOME Christmas...I truly think the best one yet!  BC loved his new bike (no more training wheels!) and he got LOTS of stuffed snakes and some of his new favorites, Hex Bugs and their habitats!

 

Enjoy the pictures and I hope to post more soon.  I need to get a new camera, as I've found that I just don't take as many pictures as I used to (boo me!) since I now just have my phone camera.

 More Chippy fun!  We were said to say good-bye to him on Christmas Eve, but he had to follow Santa back to the North Pole.  He'll be back next December!

 Bear Cub the hairdresser?  Check out Mimi Bear's ponytail that he gave her!  LOL!

 Not only did he leave Santa cookies, but he wanted to make a BIG salad for the reindeer.  They loved it!  I sure wish BC would a salad like that...
