Hi there and Happy Easter! Wow...what a fantastic weekend we have had! We went to Mimi's on Saturday and enjoyed a fun-filled and relaxing afternoon watching Bear Cub...and Zoe...swim, swim, swim! We had a delicious Easter meal with Mimi and Aunt Cookie and enjoyed just visiting and spending some outside. It was gorgeous out!
The Easter Bunny came to Mimi's and left BC some candy and a book that he LOVES called "Opposnakes." He also got a K'Nex roller coaster set (yikes...even this small one was an engineering feat for Daddy to put together!) from us. It was SUPPOSED to be from the Easter Bunny until that little stinker found it in my bags before heading to Mimi's. I couldn't risk the "connection" being made so that gift then had to be from Mommy & Daddy instead. It's all good! ;)
We then went out on Aunt S and Uncle T's boat with Grandma & Grandpa and cuz A. We cruised to a nearby island and just soaked in the beautiful scenery and day. Wow...it was great. BC had such a blast on the beach. He spent most of the time, just poking around in the sand and water, discovering all kinds of cool things and critters. It was an explorer's dream come true! :)
So, tonight as I reflect on this perfect Easter weekend, I am thankful for my family and the fact that we live so near. Times like this are made special when you have the love of family around. Have a wonderful week ahead!!

Easter weekend photos are so adorable!! It was so fun having the b.c. family & a/c this weekend. b.c. z. and a...and m.b. are the best swimmers in town and I will say the cutest!! ooooo-la-la.
