Celebration!

Hello!  Well, it was another busy weekend for Bear Cub and me!  We headed over to Mimi Bear's house to have a baby shower for one of my best friends (and she happens to be my cousin, too!) and her hubbie.  Amy and Mike's baby boy is due in early September and I am so excited to meet this little guy!  They don't have the name picked out yet, but Bear Cub has said SEVERAL times that he thinks they should name him "Baby Jesus."  Wow, quite a name to live up to! 

The shower went so well - it was like a family reunion for us all!  Good conversation, lots of laughs, gifts and good eats!  It's hard for me to believe that the next time I see Amy and Mike...there will be a baby too!  

Bear Cub spent some time with his Aunt and Uncle, and Grandma & Grandpa during the shower.  They all had a good time and it was SO nice for me to be able to socialize and help out with the party...and not just keep my own little one out of the gifts, the cake, the punch bowl, etc, etc, etc!  :)

I'll post some more pics from the weekend soon!  Also had our walk through at the new house and went BLUE TAPE crazy!  Mostly cosmetic flaws to fix, so the house is looking good.  We have a closing date set ...less than 2 weeks away.  WOW!
